Let's Talk Men's Health Do you have questions about your or your loved one's health? Join us on 3 March at Chestnuts Community Centre for a supportive space to discuss Men’s Health. During the session, we’ll be joined by Hesketh and Ricardo from Haringey Basketball 4 All and a well-being advocate from the Haringey GP Federation’s Long-Term Conditions Service, who will be available to answer your questions and offer you advice and support to better manage your health. We believe that knowledge is power - the more we learn, talk, and share about men's health, the more empowered the community can be! Your Hosts Hesketh Benoit He is a community activist, a head basketball coach, and has been a Further Education lecturer for over 35 years. As an ex-semi-pro basketball player, he now runs Basketball 4All, a community-run basketball project that focuses on Haringey's youth sports engagement and personal development. The project targets Haringey’s BAME community, encouraging every young person to get involved in basketball Ricardo Johnson He has a post-graduate qualification in Exercise and Behavioural Medicine, and qualifications in sports and fitness, including sports massage therapy. He has also worked for over 30 years in elite football. Currently, he is a director for two community organisations - Haringey Basketball Association and Not Just Football CIC, which both use physical activity to address the community's health needs.
