Drive: A Live Opera Performance hosted by Tottenham Talking Tottenham Talking is hosting Drive: A Live Opera Performance, in partnership with Health: PITCH and Hill & Peabody, in March at Chestnuts Community Centre and you're all invited! This light-hearted live musical follows an opera singer stuck in traffic and running late for a concert, something many of us can relate to! The production explores how enjoying music and drama together can support mental health and wellbeing. The event is part of a groundbreaking project being delivered in Tottenham and Haringey by Health: PITCH, in partnership with Hill & Peabody, and powered by the operatic voice. The project supports mental health and wellbeing and strengthens social connections in unusual and creative ways, to: Connect different sectors — construction, opera and music, the NHS, public health and the community. together Promote awareness- these sectors are intertwined in helping people feel safe, well, and a sense of belonging. Book Now About Health:Pitch It operates at the intersection of creative arts, mental health, and emotional wellbeing, using opera and musical theatre in creative ways to influence organisational and professional practice, as well as public awareness, in these areas. Since 2017, they have reached over 10,000 diverse audiences in health and social care settings and isolated communities, with their experiential, collaborative and tailored workshops. They are now applying our unique skills and knowledge to the health, humanitarian and emergency sectors whose employees are at increased risk of distress due to the nature of their work.
