Home Cooked Community Forum

Join us on Wednesday, 18 February 2026, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Lea Valley Primary School, Somerford Grove, Tottenham, N17 0PT for our Home Cooked Community Forum.

Through the evening, we will share project updates and outline the impact Home Cooked is having for young people and families across Haringey.

• The launch of the second round of the Home Cooked Community Fund, including how to apply
• Performances by young people from DJ-MC Academy
• A shared community meal featuring Caribbean cuisine

This forum is open to young people, families, residents, and community organisations who want to stay informed, connect with others, and be involved in future activity.

Aviard Inspires 

We’re pleased to welcome Amani Simpson from Aviard Inspires, one of our funded community partners, who will be sharing updates on his recent work. Amani previously created SAVE ME, a powerful short film raising awareness of child criminal exploitation and the importance of active bystanders

Kiyan Prince Foundation

We’re also delighted to welcome Mark Prince OBE from the Kiyan Prince Foundation (KPF), one of our funded community partners. KPF uses sport and success coaching to help young people build confidence, discipline, and a champion’s mindset, empowering them to make positive choices and shape brighter futures.

DJ &MC Academy

Joining them is DJ&MC Academy, one of our funded partners, founded by Krissy and dedicated to connecting people through music. The academy pioneers a mobile outreach van that brings music directly into communities and gained national attention following her inspiring appearance on Dragons' Den.
