What If...?

What If…? is a toolkit to support Haringey's Voluntary and Community Sector to better prepare, respond and recover from emergencies. We are proud to be part of a community that have always stepped up in times of need, and we hope this toolkit reflects some of the learning from our communities and beyond.

The information in this guide has been put together by the Bridge Renewal Trust with the support of local community groups, the Emergency Planning team at Haringey Council, the Mayor of London, London Plus, Communities Prepared, British Red Cross, and Voluntary and Community Sector Emergencies Partnership.

This is a live resource which we will continue to update. If you would like to contribute to this work, please get in touch via [email protected]

How to use this guide

Every organisation will operate differently, but it is important to know in advance what is your organisation’s plan to support the community in the case of an emergency. We suggest trying to use this information to come up with an action plan that works for you, and can be activated if an emergency occurs. It is a good idea to involve staff and volunteers and make sure they are aware of this plan. If you need support to develop your plan, contact us via [email protected]
