Our Autumn Home Cooked Community Forum kicked off in style with the Home Cooked Consortium partners showcasing some of the incredible work they have been doing to support and empower young people.

The programme and the room were packed. The audience heard an impactful presentation from Awaken Genius, a brilliant performance by young people from Black Arts Production Theatre, and valuable feedback from Haringey Basketball for All, highlighting the positive impact Home Cooked funding has had in delivering new opportunities for local youth.

It was truly inspiring to see residents, local organisations, young people, and community partners come together — all united by a shared commitment to creating a safer Northumberland Park and expanding opportunities for young people.

“It was wonderful to see so many people in one room, all focused on making our community a better, safer place for young people. You could really feel the hope and togetherness.”

We’re excited to build on this momentum and turn these ideas and feedback into meaningful action that helps young people continue to thrive and feel safe.

Thank you once again to everyone who contributed, listened, and supported us.

Together, we’re building a brighter, safer future.
