We were joined by the Black Health Legacy team and researchers from the NHS Research Office (Noclor), part of our Research Engagement Network,  at our Winter Wellness Self-Care Healthy Life Styles launch event. The recruitment drive was a great success, with 29 residents speaking with the teams about current studies, and eight participants recruited.

The Research Engagement Network (REN) is a partnership programme between the Bridge, Edmonton Community Partnership, and the North Central London Integrated Care Board (NCL ICB) to increase research participation and to improve health outcomes among underserved communities.

Have you heard about Black Health Legacy?

Their mission is to become the UK’s largest community-based health research programme for Black, Black African and Caribbean people. They will research medical problems such as Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and kidney disease, which affect Black communities disproportionately. Find out more: https://blackhealthlegacy.org/
