GLA Puts Food Roots Down in Haringey We are delighted to have been awarded onward funding from the General London Authority (GLA) for Food Roots 2 . The aim of the Food Roots programme is to help food partnerships across London to develop and embed more sustainable and resilient ways of working to better support food insecure Londoners. So far with the GLA's support we have: Co-produced a comprehensive data framework to measure the impact of both crisis food provision and wraparound support, ensuring our efforts are targeted and effective. Upskilled foodbank volunteers to provide form-filling support, for Healthy Start Campaign increasing access to essential nutrition for families. Supported the Pension Tax Credit Campaign by collaborating across the borough to ensure eligible residents receive their winter fuel allowance.
