Celebrating the Achievements of Food Roots 2 Project 19 May 2025 To mark the end of Food Roots 2, the GLA invited our Project Coordinator, Alice Igoe, to showcase how she has been addressing food poverty in Haringey through her Data Framework. The framework aims to help local groups better understand community needs and work together to support people facing food insecurity. Alice shared her successes and lessons from the project, and people from other boroughs expressed eager interest and engagement in replicating the framework in their area afterwards. Nina from Sufra, Brent, Amy from Nourish Hub, Hammersmith and Fulham, joined Alice onstage. All passionately shared their different approaches to tackling food poverty in their boroughs. If you're interested in learning more about Food Roots 2 and the innovative ways Sufra has been tackling food poverty in Brent, join us on 30 May at Wolves Lane for our Stretching the Pound event.
