Our Community Space, the Bridge Community Hut, has been awarded two years' funding from the Mayor of London and The National Lottery Community Fund through their Loved and Wanted Community Fund.

This funding enables us to support more people, pilot new activities that celebrate the wonderful diversity of Haringey, and make our community space even more welcoming and accessible to everyone who walks through our doors.

"It was a privilege to join partners from across London at the Loved and Wanted launch at the Albany, Deptford. We are proud to be part of this fantastic network of community spaces, united in the Mayor of London's vision that every person who comes through our doors feels valued, supported, loved and wanted.”

Chief Executive of the Bridge Renewal Trust, Geoffrey Ocen

From Left to Right: Dame Julia Cleverdon, DCVO CBE, Chair of The National Lottery Community Fund; Geoffrey Ocen, Chief Executive of the Bridge Renewal Trust; Habte Lakew, Community Empowerment Manager at the Bridge Renewal Trust and Debbie Weekes-Bernard, Deputy Mayor for Communities and Social Justice.

"In this time of division and polarisation, our community space is needed more than ever.

We are deeply grateful to the Mayor of London and the National Lottery Community Fund for their generous support in funding our community space. This investment will enable us to expand our services, pilot new activities that celebrate Haringey's diversity and ensure more people find a space where they feel loved, wanted and can  truly belong."

Chair of Trustees, Michele Eastmond
